What We Do

We work to ensure ITHA is a safe neighborhood. It takes a village.

We work with San Francisco NERT a service of the San Francisco Fire Department which has helped us develop a neighborhood response team. The goal is that every street in ITHA will designate a Block Captain who will help communicate with neighbors in the event of an emergency. 

We participate in NERT drills and share emergency preparedness resources.

We work with SF Department of Emergency Management (DEM) to train neighbors to identify resources on their block utilizing Map Your Neighborhood (MYN).

Finally, we work with SFPD to create and facilitate Neighborhood Watch Groups and provide residential and business safety assessments.
